Qatar Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Warns of Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza, Urges Full Reopening of Rafah Crossing

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari has expressed deep concern over the humanitarian situation in Gaza, calling for the full reopening of the Rafah crossing and condemning the obstruction of medical evacuations as ‘unacceptable pressure tactics’.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Qatar‘s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari has issued a stark warning about deteriorating humanitarian conditions in Gaza while emphasizing the urgent need to fully reopen the Rafah border crossing. Speaking at a press briefing, Al-Ansari described the use of the crossing as leverage in negotiations as unacceptable and characterized the blocking of medical evacuations as a criminal act.

The Qatari official revealed ongoing international efforts to facilitate the reopening of Rafah crossing for aid delivery, though he noted that humanitarian assistance has not been entering Gaza at adequate levels. Al-Ansari also stressed the importance of de-escalating regional tensions, confirming that all parties are currently engaged in consultations to prevent further deterioration of the situation.
