Lebanese PM Condemns Israeli Abduction of Lebanese Citizen

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s abduction of Atwi, a Lebanese citizen, from his home in Al-Habariyeh. Salam called the action a clear violation of sovereignty, the cessation of hostilities declaration, and international law.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has denounced the Israeli regime’s abduction of a Lebanese citizen, Atwi, from his residence in Al-Habariyeh.

Salam described the act as a blatant infringement upon Lebanon‘s sovereignty, a violation of the declaration of the cessation of hostilities, and a breach of international law.

He has instructed the Lebanese Foreign Minister to take immediate action and pursue the matter with the United Nations.

The Lebanese Prime Minister reiterated his demand for the prompt release of all Lebanese prisoners detained in Israeli jails.

Earlier today, the Israeli army announced the abduction of a prominent member of the Jamaat Islamiya group during a nighttime operation in southern Lebanon.

The Jamaat Islamiya group in Lebanon reported that Israeli forces infiltrated the Al-Habariyeh area at midnight and abducted one of the group’s officials.
