During an interview with the American news network NBC, Rodríguez reiterated her firm position that Nicolás Maduro continues to serve as the lawful President of Venezuela and stressed the innocence of both the President and his spouse, Cilia Flores.

Rodríguez, who has been a vocal critic of Washington’s previous threats concerning the potential arrest of President Maduro, stated unequivocally during the broadcast that Maduro and Flores are blameless.
