Hezbollah Continues Rocket Barrages on Northern Israel, Targeting Military Sites

Hezbollah has escalated its rocket attacks on northern Israel, striking the settlement of Kiryat Shmona for the seventh time and hitting military bases and troop gatherings in border areas. The ongoing bombardment has also caused fires at a railway maintenance facility.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hezbollah announced on Wednesday that it has targeted the Zionist settlement of Kiryat Shmona for the seventh time with rocket strikes. This action follows a series of retaliatory operations by the Lebanese resistance movement against Israeli military targets in the occupied territories. Al-Jazeera reported on the developments, citing information from Iran’s Mehr News Agency.

Resistance fighters reportedly launched multiple rockets, striking the ‘Hermon’ military headquarters and a gathering of Israeli army soldiers and equipment in the ‘Jdeideh Maisse Jabel’ border area. In parallel operations over the past two days, Hezbollah stated it had detonated several explosive traps targeting an Israeli army bulldozer in the ‘Project Al-Taybeh’ region, as well as a concentration of enemy soldiers in the town of ‘Aitaroun’.

Concurrently with these attacks, Israel’s Channel 12 reported, citing the country’s railway company, that shrapnel from rockets caused a fire at a train operations and maintenance complex in northern occupied Palestine. The Israeli Home Front Command also confirmed the activation of air raid sirens in the ‘Rosh HaNikra’ area and several other settlements in ‘Western Galilee’, indicating the continuation of missile attacks from Lebanon.
