Gaza Death Toll Surpasses 72,900 as Civilian Casualties Mount

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll in the strip has reached 72,980, with an additional 9 Palestinians killed and 43 injured in the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of martyrs since the October 7th conflict began to 72,980.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that 9 martyrs and 43 injured individuals were transported to Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours. The ministry stated that since the ceasefire on October 11th, 970 Palestinians have been martyred and 3,063 injured, with 782 bodies recovered from under the rubble.

The Gaza Ministry of Health also reported that since the commencement of the Israeli regime’s war on October 7, 2023, the total number of martyrs has reached 72,980, with 173,171 injured. The ministry indicated that a number of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, and rescue forces have been unable to reach them due to the field conditions.

Meanwhile, the Israeli regime targeted a gathering of Palestinian citizens in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip today. During this attack, two people were martyred and several others were injured. Eight-year-old Jad Yousef Suleiman was martyred during this aerial attack by the occupation forces.
