Qatar and Egypt Discuss Iran-US Negotiations During Foreign Ministerial Call

The foreign ministers of Qatar and Egypt held a phone conversation to discuss mediation efforts between Washington and Tehran, expressing satisfaction with progress and hoping for a swift agreement.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar announced that Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, consulted with Sameh Shoukry, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, regarding mediation efforts between Washington and Tehran during a telephone exchange. Both sides expressed considerable satisfaction with the progress in the negotiations and the announcement by Pakistan’s mediator concerning the achievement of a final draft for a peace agreement. The two ministers also conveyed their hope that both the American and Iranian parties would sign this agreement as soon as possible.
