The primary focus of their discussion, as reported by Al Jazeera via the Mehr News Agency, was President Trump providing Netanyahu with specific details regarding the latest progress towards finalizing a new agreement. During the call, Trump reiterated his assertion that the Strait of Hormuz would be reopened immediately after a deal with Iran is signed. He also stated that Iran would not achieve nuclear weapon capability. The U.S. President further claimed that the agreement with Iran was slated for signing on the current evening.
