International maritime data suggests an liquefied natural gas carrier has transited the Strait of Hormuz eastward, reportedly following an agreement between Iran and the United States, though Iranian sources have not officially confirmed the development.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Reuters has claimed, citing maritime data, that a ship carrying liquefied natural gas is transiting the Strait of Hormuz toward the east. The report indicates that the passage of this LNG carrier through the Strait of Hormuz is a consequence of an agreement reached between Iran and the United States. However, Iranian sources have not officially announced the opening of the Strait of Hormuz following the aforementioned accord. The agreement is scheduled to be officially signed between the two countries on Friday.
