Iranian Parliament Speaker Meets Belarusian Counterpart Amidst Mourning
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf held a meeting with Igor Sergeyenko, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Belarus, who is in Iran to attend the funeral of the Supreme Leader. Both officials emphasized their countries’ commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Igor Sergeyenko, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Belarus, leading a delegation to attend the funeral ceremony of the martyred mujahid leader, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, visited Iran. This morning, Friday, July 3, 2026, he met with Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran.
During the meeting, both sides extended condolences on the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. They affirmed the commitment of both nations to the continuation and deepening of bilateral cooperation, the strengthening of parliamentary relations, and closer consultation on regional and international issues.
