Massive Turnout in Tehran for Martyr Leader’s Funeral

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Arabic section of CNN reported that thousands of Iranians flocked to Tehran’s Grand Musalla for the second consecutive day on Sunday morning to attend the funeral ceremony for the “Martyr Leader.” The report stated that the presence of the Iranian people at the Grand Musalla this morning was aimed at participating in the funeral prayer for the deceased leader. CNN’s Arabic service published videos highlighting the extensive public attendance at the ceremony. The report indicated that the funeral procession is scheduled to continue over the next few days, with the “Martyr Leader” to be eventually buried next to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad.
