Venezuelan Earthquakes Leave Over 20,000 Dead and Injured

Venezuelan authorities have reported that two powerful earthquakes within a 24-hour period have resulted in more than 4,100 fatalities and over 16,700 injuries, displacing thousands.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Venezuelan officials announced that the death toll from two powerful earthquakes in the country on June 24 has risen to 4,118. The number of injured has reached 16,740. The report also indicates that 17,266 people have been forced to seek shelter in temporary tents following the quakes. These seismic events have damaged 856 buildings and completely destroyed 190 structures.
