Qatar Urges Immediate Ceasefire Amid Rising Regional Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Qatar‘s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has responded to the escalating tensions in the region. The ministry emphasized the imperative for an immediate and full stop to military measures and attacks that jeopardize regional security.

This development follows an advisory from Qatar’s Ministry of Transport, which urged owners and operators of ships to temporarily suspend their navigation and maritime activities until further notice. However, vessels compliant with international maritime conventions and operating in accordance with relevant regulations and procedures are exempted from this directive.
