Israel’s ‘Croc Torture’ Plan for Palestinian Prisoners Sparks Outrage

The Israeli government has controversially redefined Nile crocodiles as ‘domesticated wild animals,’ paving the way for their potential use in security facilities, a move slammed by human rights groups as a form of psychological torture for Palestinian detainees.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli regime has initiated a shocking plan to exploit Nile crocodiles for the psychological torment of prisoners, a move that once again exposes the regime’s anti-human rights nature. Defense Minister Idit Silman has been compelled to redefine Nile crocodiles from ‘dangerous wild animals’ to ‘domesticated wild animals,’ thereby facilitating their deployment in security environments.

This calculated decision effectively grants legal approval to far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir to implement his nefarious project of utilizing wild animals in the vicinity of detention centers housing Palestinian prisoners. Reports leaked to Hebrew media indicate that this initiative is slated for a pilot phase at the Ketziot Prison in the Negev Desert. The objective is not security enhancement, but rather the infliction of intensified psychological suffering on incarcerated individuals and the erosion of their resistance.

The legal reclassification effectively removes all prior restrictions that permitted the use of wild animals solely for scientific and educational purposes, granting the prison service unhindered authority to employ these instruments of intimidation. This inhumane action forms part of a larger strategy by the extremist elements governing Tel Aviv to exacerbate detention conditions, minimize prisoners’ rights, and impose unconventional pressures.

International observers and human rights organizations have condemned the plan, branding it a sign of the Israeli regime’s moral decay. Facing the unyielding will of Palestinian prisoners, the regime is now resorting to inhumane and medieval methods. The continued silence of international forums in the face of these actions undoubtedly constitutes tacit complicity with the regime in its blatant violation of the most basic principles of human rights.
