China and Pakistan Call for Iran-US Talks Resumption and Ceasefire

China and Pakistan are urging for a ceasefire and the resumption of negotiations between Iran and the United States, according to statements from Beijing. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has called on all parties to adhere to their commitments and implement a ceasefire agreement.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China announced that the country, along with Pakistan, is calling for a ceasefire and the resumption of talks between Iran and the United States. The ministry’s statement indicated that Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has urged all parties to honor their commitments and implement the ceasefire memorandum of understanding. Earlier, during a meeting with his Saudi counterpart, the Chinese Foreign Minister had emphasized his country’s support for maintaining the negotiation process between the United States and Iran, advocating for a comprehensive agreement between the two nations that would be acceptable to all countries in the region.
