President Trump to Attend Ceremony for Fallen U.S. Service Members

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced via social media platform X that President Donald Trump will attend the ceremony for the transfer of American service members killed in action. The event is slated for Tuesday afternoon local time.

Leavitt stated that Trump will be present at the ceremony for the transfer of U.S. soldiers killed in action to Dover Air Force Base, scheduled for Tuesday afternoon local time.

This announcement comes as the Associated Press previously reported that the number of American service members killed in conflict with Iran has risen to 17.

The Pentagon, the U.S. Department of Defense, had earlier indicated that the number of U.S. service members wounded in the incursions into Iran had increased to 427.

Prior to these reports, the U.S. military’s Central Command acknowledged that two American service members were killed and one went missing following Iranian attacks on the Al-Sultani base in Jordan.
