UK Firm Reports Ansarullah Blockade Impact on Saudi Ports, Warns of Red Sea Risks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a report from the British maritime security firm Ambrey indicates that the Ansarullah movement’s declaration of a naval blockade is significantly impacting Saudi Arabian ports. The firm’s analysis suggests that while the maritime zone has not yet been directly affected operationally, vessels linked to Saudi Arabia or destined for its ports face high risks when transiting the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

Ambrey noted that based on the Ansarullah movement’s past actions concerning Israel, there is an increasing threat of targeted attacks against companies interacting with Saudi ports. The security company highlighted that Saudi ports along the Red Sea are considered at high risk of Ansarullah attacks.

Furthermore, the report stated that the risk of attacks from Iran remains persistent due to escalating regional tensions. Maritime and commercial shipping companies have been advised to assess their links and associations with entities targeted by Ansarullah and to reconsider high-risk transits through these waterways.
