Trump Threatens Iran, Yemen’s Ansarullah with Military Action Over Red Sea Attacks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has identified Iran as responsible for the recent attacks carried out by Yemeni armed forces in the Red Sea against Saudi aggressors. This assertion was reported by Al Jazeera, citing data published by the Mehr News Agency.

The Yemeni actions, including a plan to blockade Saudi Arabia and obstruct its vessels in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, reportedly followed a ceasefire violation by Saudi Arabia, which included an attack on Sanaa International Airport.

President Trump stated that Yemeni forces have resumed their activities, alleging an attack on two Saudi ships the previous night. He reiterated previous threats, asserting that Washington would consider Yemenis as Iranian agents if they repeat such attacks.

Trump further warned of severe military repercussions against Iran and Yemen’s Ansarullah if these assaults continue. He had previously threatened Iran with targeting its bridges and infrastructure if Iranian forces attacked any vessels violating regulations in the Strait of Hormuz.

However, international navigation continues to operate without relying on Trump’s threats, refraining from transit that contravenes arrangements set by the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Strait of Hormuz, and lacking confidence in Trump’s purported support in the vital waterway.
