UN Special Rapporteur Calls for Arms Embargo Against Israel, Citing ‘Massacre’
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, labeled the recent Israeli assaults on Palestinian civilians across the occupied West Bank a “massacre” on Saturday. She subsequently called for an immediate arms embargo and an end to all trade with the Israeli regime.
Albanese stated via the social media platform X, “Massacres against defenseless civilians across the West Bank, while Gaza is under fire.”
She further emphasized the urgency of such measures, asserting, “Arms embargo now – stop the trade now.” Albanese added that such actions are mandated under international law.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that four Palestinians were killed on Friday during an attack by Israeli occupiers and Israeli forces in the city of Tulkarm.
