Israel Expresses Frustration Over US Strategy Against Iran, Citing Media Warfare and Ineffective Strikes
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Tel Aviv has expressed disappointment and frustration over the course of the United States’ conflict with the Islamic Republic of Iran. This sentiment stems from two primary reasons: the inadequacy of U.S. strikes in compelling Iran to yield due to a lack of sufficient intensity, and Tel Aviv’s marginalization from the decision-making process regarding these actions. This information was published by Al-Rai Al-Youm, citing Channel 12 television of the Israeli regime.
In parallel, a military affairs analyst for the newspaper Maariv, speaking on condition of anonymity and referencing informed security sources, stated, “This phase of conflict increasingly resembles a ‘media deception’ with very few genuine strategic plans.”
The Israeli analyst highlighted the escalating number of U.S. military strikes against Iran in the past two weeks, observing that despite these actions, Iran has successfully shifted the dynamics in its favor and is now a decisive factor in the global economy. Iran has effectively closed the Strait of Hormuz and, with the assistance of allied forces in Yemen, is preparing to do the same for the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. Conversely, the United States is engaged in a belated defensive battle in southern and western Iran.
Israeli assessments indicate that despite the volume of attacks, these measures will not lead to a change in Iran’s political system, halt its nuclear program, or reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
Sources in Tel Aviv suggest that the Americans require a form of military spectacle and the pretense of a large-scale offensive, hoping such a display will be impactful and alter the situation concerning Iran. However, given the absence of a war plan and ground forces capable of entering nuclear program facilities or securing the Strait of Hormuz to prevent maritime encirclement, it appears the U.S. is not prepared for a substantial and powerful action designed to strike Iran.
