Israeli Forces Continue Destruction and Bombardment in Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by the Mehr News Agency and reported by Russia Today, the Lebanese Army Command announced in a statement that Israeli soldiers continue their aggressions and violations of existing agreements and international laws. These actions involve the organized destruction of homes, bombardment of residential areas, bulldozer leveling of these regions, and extensive automatic gunfire targeting various parts of southern Lebanon.
The statement indicated that these destructive actions have affected areas including Kfartibnit in the Nabatieh Governorate, Hula and Qunayn in the Bint Jbeil District, and Nabi Abla Al-Saqi, Al-Mansouri, Beit Al-Sayad, and Majdal Zoun in the Tyre District.
The Lebanese Army further accused the occupying forces of collecting and transporting debris resulting from the destruction in border areas. The statement also noted the explosion of a water supply project in the town of Markaba in the Marjayoun Governorate. In the latest incident, ancient olive trees and extensive agricultural lands were set ablaze on the outskirts of the town of Aitaroun in the Bint Jbeil District.
The statement continued by reporting that concurrently with these destructive acts, Israeli soldiers have engaged in gunfire near the positions of the Lebanese Army in Kfartibnit, Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, and Zawtar Al-Gharbiyeh, creating difficulties for the army in carrying out its missions.
The Lebanese Army also announced its ongoing efforts in cooperation and security provision for the return of residents to the town of Zawtar Al-Gharbiyeh.
In conclusion, the Lebanese Army emphasized that the continuation of these attacks and actions by Tel Aviv hinders the full deployment of army forces according to existing agreements, prevents residents from returning to their cities and villages, and disrupts the process of establishing stability and tranquility in southern Lebanon.
