Netanyahu asserted that if Israel were attacked, the regime would respond with “vast power.” He also cast doubt on any agreement with Iran, claiming that whenever negotiations approach fruition, attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz hinder progress. Netanyahu further stated that U.S. President Donald Trump holds a very clear stance on Iran, and that Tel Aviv and Washington share a commitment and common goal to prevent the Islamic Republic of Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
