Iraqi Ambassador Visits Mashhad, Honors Martyr Leader’s Memory
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Dr. Yaser Abdul Zahra Al-Hajaj, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Islamic Republic of Iran, arrived in the holy city of Mashhad on Tuesday. The visit was aimed at enhancing and deepening bilateral relations between Iran and Iraq and exploring opportunities for expanded joint cooperation.
Upon commencing his trip, the ambassador performed a pilgrimage to the sacred shrine of Hazrat Imam Ali bin Musa Al-Reza (AS). He subsequently paid homage to the revered status of Martyr Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei by visiting his burial site.

Discussions focused on developing religious and cultural cooperation and ties between the two countries.
Continuing his visit, Dr. Al-Hajaj also met with the Governor of Khorasan Razavi province. During this meeting, key shared issues and existing capacities for expanding economic, cultural, tourism, and pilgrim services cooperation between Iran and Iraq were reviewed.
