Six Saudi Tankers Divert Course Amid Yemeni Threats

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Bloomberg reported that six Saudi oil tankers have changed their course in the Bab al-Mandab Strait, demonstrating the significant influence of the naval blockade imposed by the Ansar Allah movement against ships affiliated with Riyadh.
The report indicates that two supertankers are heading towards Gibraltar, while the destination for the other four tankers is either Durban or a gulf located in Southern Africa. Typically, vessels circumnavigating the African continent utilize this route.
It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia‘s maritime blockade is being implemented by Yemen in response to Riyadh’s oppressive blockade of the country. Earlier, Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement had issued warnings regarding the passage of Saudi ships through the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
