Russia Alleges Ukraine Traffics Western Arms to Conflict Zones in Africa and Middle East
Russia’s Special Envoy for the Foreign Ministry, Rodion Miroshnik, has accused Ukraine of becoming a major hub for illegal arms trade, stating that Kyiv diverts significant quantities of Western-supplied weaponry to conflict zones in the Middle East and Africa.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Rodion Miroshnik, Russia’s Special Envoy for Special Missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced on Saturday that Ukraine is currently one of the largest central points for illegal arms trafficking. Miroshnik stated that Kyiv is channeling vast amounts of weaponry provided by its Western partners into black markets. He further added that Ukraine is sending a portion of the Western arms it receives to active conflict areas in the Middle East (West Asia) and Africa.
