US Central Command Seeks Unconventional Ideas to Pressure Iran

In a strategic shift, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has reportedly requested military analysts to develop ‘unconventional’ ideas aimed at increasing pressure on Iran, signaling a reassessment of existing strategies.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has asked military analysts to formulate “unconventional” ideas for pressuring Iran, as reported by CNN, citing sources.

In a message to a group of military analysts, a CENTCOM intelligence officer stated, “We are looking for new, creative, and unconventional ways to pressure Iran.”

This request suggests that the Washington administration possesses limited and politically undesirable options in its dealings with Iran, according to CNN.

Meanwhile, a source told Fox News that CENTCOM is prepared to consider any new proposals. Given that previous options against Iran have not influenced it toward capitulation, the U.S. military believes its strategy concerning Iran requires reevaluation.

President Donald Trump had previously claimed that the United States and Iran would hold negotiations for a peace agreement on August 3rd. This comes as Trump once again backed down from his threats of an attack against Iran.
