Over 4.8 Million Pilgrims Enter Iraq for Arbaeen Ceremonies

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iraqi security and service agencies have reported the arrival of 4,887,660 pilgrims from various countries for the Arbaeen commemoration. The central command and control for Arbaeen, part of the Iraqi Security Media Unit, announced the ongoing implementation of special security and service plans for the event. These plans involve coordinated efforts from all security, service, and support entities to ensure the safety of foreign pilgrims and to facilitate the smoothest possible transit through border crossings and main routes, under the direct supervision and support of the Iraqi Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

Updated figures released until last night indicate a substantial increase in the total number of pilgrims who have entered Iraq since the beginning of Muharram. The influx of pilgrims from diverse nationalities continues as they arrive to participate in the Arbaeen observances for Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

Security units and relevant authorities are actively fulfilling their operational duties according to meticulously reviewed plans, overseen by the High Committee for the Million-Scale Ceremonies. Security, police, and service measures are being continuously enhanced in proportion to the steady rise in pilgrim numbers. These measures aim to guarantee the seamless flow of pilgrims while providing a secure, stable, and conducive environment throughout the Arbaeen pilgrimage period.
