The Turkish Presidency’s Directorate of Communications announced that the leaders addressed various issues pertinent to the region.

During the call, President Erdogan emphasized Ankara’s commitment to fostering lasting peace and stability in the region. He also conveyed Turkey‘s solidarity with Saudi Arabia concerning recent alleged attacks targeting the Kingdom.

The discussions also encompassed bilateral relations between Turkey and Saudi Arabia, as well as broader regional and international matters. President Erdogan reiterated Turkey’s stance on the Gaza issue, stressing that Israel must adhere closely to the specific roadmap for the second phase of the Gaza peace plan. He affirmed that Turkey is closely monitoring the ongoing developments.
