White House Claims Full Control Over Strait of Hormuz, Cites Success of Iran Sanctions

The White House has reiterated claims of complete control over the Strait of Hormuz by the U.S. Navy, asserting continued maritime blockade and deeming its maximum pressure campaign against Iran effective, urging Tehran to accept a deal.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the White House spokesperson asserted in an interview with the Financial Times that the Strait of Hormuz is currently under the complete control of the U.S. Navy, and Washington is continuing to impose a maritime blockade in the region.
The spokesperson further pointed to the U.S. government’s confrontational approach against Iran, claiming that the maximum pressure campaign against Iran has been effective.
The White House spokesperson added in an interventionist tone, “From Washington’s perspective, the most sensible thing for Iran to do is to agree to a deal.”
