Macron Pledges Increased Pressure on Russia, Vows Continued EU Support for Ukraine

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron claimed on Wednesday that Russia had once again targeted civilians in Kyiv and its surrounding region. Publishing a message on social media platform X, Macron condemned the alleged policy of intimidation, which he stated is being carried out using missiles and drones, as unacceptable.
The French President further asserted that each new attack reinforces a clear truth: Russia must pay the price for its aggression and be held accountable for its crimes. Macron added that France, alongside Ukraine, will not yield to fatigue or be intimidated by these acts of coercion. He affirmed that the European Union and its partners will continue to increase pressure on Russia, including through the imposition of new sanctions, while simultaneously strengthening military assistance to Ukraine to enable the country to defend itself and protect its population.
