Turkey Denounces Israeli ‘Terrorism’ in West Bank, Jerusalem, and Syria

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has strongly condemned Israel’s ongoing ‘terrorist activities’ in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, while also highlighting concerns over Israeli threats to Syria’s security and the need for stability in Lebanon.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkey‘s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has asserted that Israel and the Netanyahu government are continuing their “terrorist activities” in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem. Fidan stated that Israel, through its persistent attacks, is attempting to undermine Syria’s security and that pressure must be applied on the regime to respect Syria’s territorial integrity.

Fidan further emphasized Turkey’s commitment to defense cooperation and counter-terrorism efforts with Syria, noting the country’s increasing stability and Turkey’s efforts to foster relationships at all levels. Addressing the situation in Lebanon, the Turkish Foreign Minister underscored the necessity of ensuring stability and security, attributing the displacement and casualties of thousands to Israel’s expansionist policies.

In parallel, the Syrian Foreign Minister, without detailing practical solutions, claimed that Damascus is working to consolidate stability in southern Syria and halt recurrent Israeli assaults.
