Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan Sign Pact for Joint Defense

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the signing of a joint defense agreement between the country, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. This pact, referred to as the “Mecca Agreement,” underscores a shared commitment to bolstering security and promoting peace, stability, and security within the region and beyond.

The joint defense accord explicitly states that any armed aggression against any one of the three signatory nations will be considered an attack against all of them. Following the agreement’s signing, the three countries issued a joint statement highlighting their objective to “develop and enhance coordination in all areas of military-technical cooperation between Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan,” with the aim of strengthening collective deterrence against hostile actions.

The defense agreement was officially signed by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and the President of Turkey. Reports emerged this morning detailing the arrival of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the President of Turkey in Saudi Arabia to attend the signing ceremony.
