Syrian Forces Neutralize ISIS Members Attempting Bombing in Sayyidah Zaynab

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Syrian security forces engaged and neutralized two ISIS members in the Sayyidah Zaynab area, south of Damascus, who were reportedly attempting to plant a bomb. The Ministry of Interior of the Syrian government stated that its security forces confronted the militants before they could execute their plan.

The ministry further reported that investigations suggest the two individuals intended to target a government entity. During the operation, security forces discovered explosives and weapons in the possession of the neutralized militants.
