Spanish Analyst Claims Ceuta Migrant Crisis Was US-Israel Retaliation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Spanish international affairs expert Enrique Arias Gil has stated that the crisis involving migrants entering the city of Ceuta was fabricated by the United States and the Israeli regime. He believes they decided to retaliate due to Madrid’s support for Palestine.

Arias Gil elaborated that Spain supported Palestine and prevented American forces from utilizing its territory. Consequently, then-U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised retribution against Spain.

He further indicated that the crisis in Ceuta had been escalating for a considerable period. However, Spanish authorities were reluctant to take action, as they are allies with Morocco. Reports concerning this crisis reached Spanish officials with significant delays, suggesting that the entire situation was essentially pre-arranged.

Late last month, the city of Ceuta, a Spanish territory in North Africa bordering Morocco, experienced a massive influx of migrants. According to Spain’s Ministry of the Interior, approximately 72,000 individuals have entered the city since then, with the majority having been returned to Morocco.
