According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, ABC News, citing a U.S. official, has claimed that the covert transfer of Donald Trump, the President of the United States, from Ankara occurred after receiving information about the infiltration of an Iranian cell equipped with a shoulder-fired missile. Earlier reports had also indicated Trump’s secret transfer from his main aircraft to a smaller military plane during his departure from Ankara, amid concerns about Iran.

Conversely, The Washington Post, quoting an American official, reported that the accounts concerning a threat to Trump’s life during his visit to Turkey originated from Israeli sources. This American official added that the provision of information by Israel regarding the potential targeting of Trump might have been intended to influence his decisions.
