Israeli Security Circles Express Alarm Over Iran’s Rapid Missile Program Resumption

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the newspaper ‘Jerusalem Post’ has reported on the concerns within Israel’s security establishment regarding the speed of Iran‘s military reconstruction, especially in the domain of ballistic missiles.

New assessments originating from occupied territories suggest that Iran has managed to restore a portion of its missile capacity in a shorter timeframe than previously anticipated, contrary to earlier projections.

The Jerusalem Post reported that the number of Iranian ballistic missiles has increased from approximately 1,300 in June 2025 to around 2,500 in February 2026.

The newspaper further stated that Iran possesses the capability to produce between 100 to 300 missiles monthly. If this trend continues, Iran’s missile stockpile could return to the June 2025 levels by early to mid-2027.

The Israeli military had previously claimed to have inflicted “significant damage” on aspects of Iran’s military capabilities.
