Malaysian Prime Minister Commends Iran for Resilient Stand Against Foreign Aggression

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has publicly praised Iran’s resilience in the face of conflict, while Malaysia’s defense leadership calls for strengthened security cooperation between the two nations.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has expressed significant admiration for the perseverance demonstrated by the Islamic Republic of Iran while confronting military aggression from the United States and the Zionist regime. In an interview with Al Jazeera, the Prime Minister highlighted that Malaysia was among the few nations to unequivocally condemn the February military strikes against Iran.

Building on this diplomatic stance, Malaysian Defense Minister Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin previously engaged in discussions with the Acting Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Brigadier General Ibn al-Reza. During their talks, the Malaysian Defense Minister acknowledged the global observation of Iran’s internal cohesion and military strength during recent escalations.

Minister Nordin underscored Malaysia’s commitment to standing alongside the Islamic Republic of Iran in the pursuit of international peace and security. He explicitly expressed a desire to bolster bilateral cooperation, noting that Malaysia is eager to leverage Iran’s advanced defense technologies and industrial capabilities. Both officials emphasized their mutual interest in expanding high-level defense interactions and the strategic exchange of expertise to enhance regional stability.
