Trump Claims Easy Engagement with Oman Amidst Rhetoric on Iran’s Nuclear Program

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday responded to a reporter’s question regarding his previous threat to heavily bomb Oman if it impeded the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. The reporter asked if his patience with Oman, a strategic partner, had run out. Trump replied, “I don’t think they have behaved very well, but we have engaged with them very easily, just like other things.”
The U.S. President then proceeded to repeat his previous assertions about Iran’s nuclear program, without acknowledging the peaceful nature of Tehran’s nuclear activities. He claimed, “Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon and will never have one! They want to make a deal, but not the kind of deal that I think is necessary!”
This comes after the U.S. President had previously threatened to severely bomb Oman should the country obstruct Washington’s actions.
