Trump Announces Unprecedented Economic Sanctions Against Iran

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has declared the commencement of severe economic sanctions against Iran, calling it the most destructive economic operation ever undertaken against any nation. Trump asserted that this move signals an unprecedented economic war and isolation for Iran, drawing a parallel to the pivotal Normandy landings of World War II as a decisive economic operation.
Despite previous attempts to pressure Iran proving ineffective, the U.S. President claimed the necessity of international cooperation to isolate and defeat what he termed the Iranian threat. He emphasized that oil smuggling, barter deals, cash transactions, exchange shops, corporate registration records, and shell companies must cease. Trump further stated that any country allowing its financial institutions, companies, or airports to provide vital support to Iran would face significant economic consequences.
Trump, who has been accused of hindering negotiations through his own breaches of commitment, alleged that Iran missed an opportunity and is now on the verge of collapse. He reiterated his previous claims regarding Iran’s military capabilities, stating that its navy has been destroyed, air force annihilated, military factories reduced to rubble, and its currency devalued. The U.S. President concluded by justifying these measures as historically significant steps that will cripple Iran’s progress and eliminate its capacity to spread terrorism globally.
