Moscow Reports Over 2,600 Ukrainian Drones During One Week

Moscow has reported a significant aerial incursion, with over 2,600 Ukrainian drones targeting the Moscow region within a single week. The majority of these unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and neutralized by air defense systems.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin revealed on Saturday that the number of drones flying towards the Moscow region has exceeded 2,500. Between 8:30 AM Moscow time (5:30 AM GMT) on August 15 and 8:30 AM Moscow time (5:30 AM GMT) on August 22, a total of 2,652 drones were detected heading towards the capital’s region. Sobyanin stated that most of these were neutralized by air defense systems in the distant suburbs.
The Russian capital’s mayor further detailed that 493 drones were destroyed in the vicinity of Moscow during this period.
