Russia Emphasizes Collective Security System in Persian Gulf Amidst Tehran’s Regional Dialogues
Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, has underscored the necessity of establishing a collective security system in the Persian Gulf, following Iran’s statements about receiving new security and economic cooperation proposals from neighboring countries.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia‘s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, stressed the importance of creating a collective security system in the Persian Gulf region.
Ulyanov posted on X, stating that the establishment of a collective security system in the Persian Gulf is a very important task.
These remarks were made in response to statements by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, who indicated that Tehran has received numerous messages from neighboring countries regarding the establishment of new mechanisms for ensuring security and economic cooperation in the region.
