Russia Ready to Support Mediation Efforts to End Iran Conflict and Bolster Middle East Stability

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia‘s Deputy Foreign Minister, Alexander Alimov, stated that Moscow is prepared to support mediation efforts focused on ending the conflict with Iran and preserving stability in the Middle East. He emphasized that if requested, Russia would lend its support to these initiatives, both concerning Iran directly and within a broader framework for protecting regional security, including the security doctrine for the Persian Gulf region.
Alimov also commented that recent developments in Lebanon are hindering efforts to revive the negotiation process between the United States and Iran. Russia has previously proposed mediation between Iran and the Arab states of the Persian Gulf with the objective of achieving regional stability.
