Five Injured in Blaze at Russia’s Amur Gas Chemical Complex
A fire erupted at the Amur Gas Chemical Complex in Russia’s Far East on Tuesday, injuring at least five people and prompting an ongoing investigation into its cause. The blaze, which occurred in an auxiliary processing area, did not impact the main equipment.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, at least five individuals sustained injuries following a fire incident at the Amur Gas Chemical Complex located in Russia‘s Far East. The report, citing Anatolia news agency, detailed that the blaze occurred on Tuesday.
The company confirmed that the fire originated in the auxiliary processing zone of the pyrolysis unit. Crucially, the incident did not cause damage to the complex’s primary equipment.
An investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the fire. Firefighters successfully contained and extinguished the blaze, ensuring no further escalation.
