According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Pakistan‘s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reported on a very positive and productive meeting with the President of Iran, attended by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan. Naqvi shared this update via a message on the social media platform X on Tuesday.

The discussions centered on the conflict between Iran and the United States, ongoing tensions in West Asia, and future prospects. A key focus was on the steps both nations should take to revitalize the ‘Islamabad understanding,’ which is seen as a potential pathway to comprehensively resolving these disputes.

Naqvi further stated that the Iranian President clearly articulated his government’s perspectives and concerns. He characterized the exchange of views on the issues discussed as highly constructive, noting significant progress and a very positive conclusion to the meeting. The hope remains that this engagement will pave the way for further advancements and the establishment of lasting peace in the region.
