White House Denies Ongoing Talks with Iran, Claims Effective Maritime Blockade

A White House official has stated that there are no ongoing negotiations or discussions with Iran, and no such plans are in the works, while simultaneously asserting an effective maritime blockade near Iranian ports and claiming the Strait of Hormuz remains open and mined areas have been cleared.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a White House official informed Al Jazeera that no negotiations or discussions are currently underway with Iran, and no such plans exist.

The White House official, without referencing reports from all entities monitoring maritime traffic and dismissing them as delusional, claimed that a naval blockade, specifically near Iranian ports, is being implemented with “resolute and effective” measures. The official also asserted that the Strait of Hormuz remains open and that mines have been cleared.

This assertion by the American official comes despite reports from all organizations involved in monitoring shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz indicating its closure.
