IRGC Chief Vows Retribution for US-Perpetrated Wedding Massacre in Kohstak

Major General Ahmad Vahidi, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has pledged that the blood of martyrs from a recent U.S.-orchestrated attack on a wedding in the Kohstak region will not go unanswered. The IRGC and other Iranian armed forces reiterated their commitment to safeguarding national security and peace.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Major General Ahmad Vahidi, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), issued a stern message to the families of martyrs from a “criminal attack” by the United States on a wedding celebration in the Kohstak region. Vahidi emphasized that the IRGC and other powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will uphold the sanctity of the blood of these beloved individuals and other martyrs of the Islamic Iran’s authority in the second and third American-Zionist imposed wars, particularly the Hormuz conflict. He affirmed that they will robustly and resolutely protect the security and tranquility of the nation and the Islamic state.

The full text of the message from the Commander of the IRGC is as follows:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

“And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.” (Quran 3:169)

To the honorable and patient families of the martyrs from the criminal and terrorist attack by the aggressive and villainous U.S. regime on a wedding ceremony in the oppressed region of Kohstak, Hormozgan Province,

Peace be upon you.

Once again, the malevolent and demonic face of America, through a terrorist and inhumane act aimed at eradicating joy and happiness from the lives of the noble Iranian people and instilling terror among innocent civilians, has been revealed to the world. This horrific crime, which occurred in the secure domain of our beloved homeland amidst a gathering of innocent women, men, and children at a wedding celebration, demonstrates the depth of the enmity and long-standing hatred of the enemies of the Revolution and the Islamic system, as well as their impotence in the face of the steadfastness and steely resolve of the people of this land.

I extend my condolences and sympathy for this heartbreaking and regrettable tragedy to the presence of His Holiness Imam Mahdi (may our souls be sacrificed for him), His Eminence the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be prolonged), the great nation of Iran, and especially to you, the grieving and sorrowful families of this great crime.

Undoubtedly, the pure blood of these oppressed martyrs, who were drenched in blood by the criminals of history and the wicked of the age in their utmost innocence and oppression, will never go unanswered and will certainly ensnare the perpetrators and instigators of this heinous crime.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and other powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will uphold the sanctity of the blood of these beloved individuals and other martyrs of the Islamic Iran’s authority in the second and third American-Zionist imposed wars, particularly the Hormuz conflict. They will protect the security and tranquility of the nation and the Islamic state with the utmost power and steadfastness.

We pray to Almighty God for the highest degrees for all the martyrs of this sorrowful incident, for their companionship with the Greatest Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure family), and for patience, fortitude, and inner peace for the survivors and your honorable families.

Their memory will forever remain alive and eternal in the historical memory of the Iranian nation.

Major General Guard Ahmad Vahidi

Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps
