Gaza Violence Intensifies: Drone Strikes Kill Two, Injure Ten in Deir al-Balah; Six-Year-Old Palestinian Girl Dies
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle near the Al-Hawaz area in southern Deir al-Balah, located in the central Gaza Strip, has resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left ten others wounded, with one casualty in critical condition. Among the injured is a child.
In a separate incident, a six-year-old Palestinian girl named Saha Muhammad Nasser succumbed to severe injuries sustained from Israeli military gunfire. She had been targeted and wounded while inside her family’s tent in the Wadi Al-Salqa area, south of Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army’s artillery also targeted areas east of the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Concurrently, several Israeli artillery shells struck the Sheikh Nasser neighborhood in eastern Khan Younis city, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Last night, a drone strike by the Israeli regime in an area near the Engineers Syndicate in the northwest of Gaza City injured several Palestinians. At the same time, the Israeli army’s artillery targeted areas east of the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
In related developments, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that the number of martyrs and injured since the ceasefire declaration on October 11, 2025, has risen to 1445 martyrs and 5072 injured. Additionally, 835 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
The ministry emphasized that the total death toll since the beginning of the aggression has reached 74,228, with the number of injured standing at 175,188.
In this context, Israeli Minister of Defense Yisrael Katz announced that, upon the recommendation of the Israeli army, he has ordered the complete closure of the West Bank and Gaza Strip crossings coinciding with the anniversary of October 7th.
These attacks are occurring as the Israeli regime continues its systematic genocide in the Gaza Strip by targeting defenseless civilians, including children and women, striking tents, homes, and roads, and destroying vital infrastructure and necessities, thereby violating the declared ‘ceasefire’ agreement.
