According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, an American media has reported, quoting diplomatic sources, that the members of the UN Security Council are going to vote on a new draft resolution on Gaza.
CNN news website reported that the draft of this resolution calls for the “immediate and unconditional release of the hostages held by Hamas”.
The resolution, drafted by Malta, also calls for “immediate humanitarian pauses” and humanitarian corridors in Gaza. In this resolution, the number of days of these ceasefires should be enough to allow full, fast, safe and unimpeded access of UN agencies to Gaza.
News Network CNN reported, citing a diplomat, that this resolution is supported by the United Arab Emirates, which was recently elected as a member of the Security Council. They have vetoed the call for a ceasefire in Gaza. Russia and China, on the other hand, have vetoed another resolution introduced by America.
In a statement on Monday, the Russian Foreign Ministry described the United States as the cause of the paralysis of the Security Council regarding Gaza.
The Russian Foreign Ministry stated in a statement posted on its website: “All UN representatives jointly call for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire and an end to this inhuman collective punishment and the suffering of women, children and People have become old.”
The statement continued: “However, the Security Council cannot fulfill its direct task and thanks to the position of only one country, the United States, Paralysis has remained.”
The Russian Foreign Ministry has also stated that Israel is fully obliged to observe all international laws in the Palestinian territories, including Gaza.
American leaders have said they support “humanitarian pauses” but are not in favor of a ceasefire because it would benefit Hamas at this point.
In the past few days, the Zionist regime has claimed to have agreed to establish four-hour daily breaks in some areas of Gaza.

Joe Biden has strongly supported the attacks of the Zionist regime and despite popular demonstrations in support of the people of Gaza, he has said that he is against a ceasefire in the war.
Observers say that Israel’s actions, including cutting off electricity, limiting aid to Gaza, and carrying out attacks against Palestinian refugees in Gaza, are considered examples of war crimes under international law.
The positions of the American government have been made in a situation where a large number of people and even the lower-ranking officials of the government of this country have demanded a ceasefire in Gaza and stop unrelenting support to the Zionist regime.
