He said that there are no groups affiliated with Iran’s armed forces, whether in Iraq, Syria or anywhere else, that are directly or indirectly under Iran’s control or acting on its behalf. .

The Pentagon’s deputy spokesman recently stated that American soldiers in Iraq and Syria were attacked 165 times from October 7, 2023 to January 29, 2024. It has been reported that American bases were targeted 66 times and the country’s bases in Syria were targeted 98 times, and in these attacks, around 80 American soldiers suffered injuries of varying severity.

In this letter, Irvani called the actions taken by the United States in Syria and Iraq illegal and in violation of international laws and the UN Charter, especially Article 2 (4) of the Charter and called said that the American letter to the Security Council has no legal basis and cannot legitimize such actions.
