According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hossein said this Sunday in response to the aggressive US attacks on the country’s territory: “Iraq is not a place to send messages or spread limbs”.
Hussein, who hosted the ambassadors of the European Union, Canada, Brazil and Australia, emphasized: the Iraqi government is responsible for supporting diplomatic delegations and foreign advisers.
Emphasizing the need for the joint military committee to return to the negotiating table to reach agreements regarding the military presence of the United States and the coalition countries, he said: “The conflict in the region must end, a cease-fire must be established in Gaza, and to prevent the escalation of tension in the region, military options should be abandoned”.
On Friday evening, American fighters attacked 85 positions in the territory of Iraq and Syria in response to the killing of 3 soldiers of this country in recent days. The United States held the Iraqi resistance groups responsible for the deaths of its soldiers.

In response to these attacks, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq submitted a protest note to the charge d’affaires of this country and emphasized: The note includes Iraq’s opposition to the US attacks and its condemnation.
Baghdad also said that it will do its best to defend its territory and citizens and the country’s security forces. .
