Hamas emphasized: We hope that this statement will be turned into practical steps by all friendly African countries to help stop the aggression and genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
In the continuation of this statement, it is emphasized: We also demand to cut off all relations with the criminal Zionist regime and support the struggles of the Palestinian people until they achieve their legitimate national rights, especially the formation of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
This statement was issued after the heads of the “African Union” at the end of their meeting in Addis Ababa, strongly condemned the crimes of the Israeli regime against more than 2 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and called for an end to the siege and a permanent ceasefire. .
Today (Sunday), the heads of the African Union, in the final statement of their 37th meeting in the capital of Ethiopia, also asked the Zionist regime to respond positively to international requests for a lasting ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
